Q: I’ve hand this solar pool controller since summer of 2021. The last three seasons it has worked well. When we opened the pool this spring, it seems to be working in reverse (we have done nothing to the unit but turn it on). When it is off, the valve is in the open position (sending water through the solar array). When I put it in manual the valve closes. In manual all diodes eluminate (power, heat, cool). What’s wrong?

It sounds like the GVA valve button underneath the Valve is reversed. Flip the toggle switch under the GVA 24 to the other side to correct.
